I was driving to Florida from NJ and at 5:30AM during a downpour, 1 of my 30 day old name brand wipers began to break apart. Black streaks began to form at both ends of the wipe stroke and the wiping edge was beginning to wear down. The pouring rain continued until about 7AM, and it didn't disintigrate to the point where there was no rubber left, but it wasn't a fun 90 minutes. During this 1.5 hour period, I made up my mind to do research and find the best wiper out there and buy it regardless of cost. I bought these for my accord (different size) and now am buying for my odyssey. It was raining the other day and I was showing these blades off to my brother. No noise, clean wipe and that's after 6 months. Then it stopped raining, and I got to show off how they continued to make no noise while the few remaining drops still coming down were wiped clean without any streaks. These are the ones to buy.

Some background: We originally got these PIAA silicone wiper blades for our Subaru Forester (2002 S model), and they were the ones that included the wiper blade bracket (part that holds the wiper and connects to the arm).

That was almost three years ago, and the blades only recently started to be less effective. Now, when I say less effective, I mean that they were probably still better than most other wiper blades, but we've become wiper blade snobs since using these!

The wiper refills fit perfectly, and since I already knew which sizes we needed it was extremely easy to order the right ones.

These wipers are the BEST. They wipe away water instantly, and the silicone coating makes water bead off the windshield when going over 25mph. They also hold up to frozen and winter conditions much better than regular blades. We've never had an issue the snow or ice with them. And c'mon, our old ones lasted THREE YEARS!

We will always buy these blades and recommend them to everyone we can.

Wow, these were super easy to replace. Just slid right onto existing Volvo stock wiper mounts. And they work so much better than traditional rubber material. What an amazing deal!

I bought these for my Honda Civic 2002 - picking the size based on the information given on the product page. These fit right into my wipers and clean the windshield beautifully. I've had them a few weeks, so they are still new but they work great.

PIAA makes the best Silicone blades as I live in Costa Rica they are used alot

I bought a set of these for a honda odyssey because everything I tried from local stores started out either chattering or streaking and after 2-3 months did both. I have had these on for about a month and do not think they could be any better. No streaking- no chattering - no sqeaking. They do seem to leave something on the windsheild (silicone?) to block dirt/bead water because now the windsheild beads like it was treated with rain-x.
I will buy no other wipers- I also found on Piaa's website an installation guide showing the sizes before I bought which helped- mine are a combination of regular/narrow widths.

I've been using these wipers for a while now - I started because the typical "Gas station" wipers only lasted a couple months. PIAA wipers last much longer - six to twelve months - and perform a lot better during their installed life. They don't skip, they don't chatter, and they do a great job getting the rain off of your windshield. Clearly, they are more expensive than gas station wipers, but this is a much better product.

These wipers didn't match my 1998 Camry XLE, which I bought used several years ago, so perhaps the wiper holders on my car aren't the original ones.

The long thin metal piece which holds the rubber was too small for my wiper 'holders', but with a little pushing and cutting, I managed to take the rubber wipers out of the long thin metal holder which came with the wipers and force the rubber wipers into the metal holder for the wipers which were on my car. Now, it works fine. So, if you buy these, you'll be able to fix them, but the evidently don't match ALL models of Camry's. I did stop by a NAPA store, and their wipers also didn't fit my car. The NAPA wipers had the same problem as these wipers.
