I've been using the Piaa Silicone refills for the past eight years. This is the best refill you can buy. It last longer than any blades that I have used.

Few years ago we changed our two cars which take the new arch design wiper blades, the Piaa blades no longer work for our new cars. I purchased the Rain-x Latitude (really bad) blades as replacement for the two cars. Less than two months later I have to replace the Rain X wipers, they actually last less than two months. After tossing the old Rain-X wipers, I decided to go back to the trash and take a closer look at the design. I still had some Piaa silicon replacement blades for my old cars that I never used up. After some tinkering and cutting (less than five minutes) the Piaa refills fits perfectly into the Rain-X Latitude wiper blades. Make sure you purchase the 24" refills only, you can always cut it to make it shorter. For some reason Piaa makes 24" refills at 5/16mm width, but if you purchase refills shorter than 24" the blade refill is at 1/4" width. The 1/4" width makes it harder to fit in Rain-X blades. Besides, the 24" refill is cheaper than the 22".

I've tried some many other wiper blades and refills. They all squeaked, smeared, stuttered and deteriorated. I cut it to fit a Toyota Camry(87) since I could not find replacement refills for my OEM blade holder and Toyota wanted too much for just one. It worked great: runs smoothly, very clean, quiet and water drops flow off the windshield. I bought the 24" because other reviewers mentioned the width of the blade below 24" was bigger than what I thought would fit. Thanks to those who commented on this.

I wonder if the other silicone rubber blades out there would work as well. But I am quite happy with the PIAA refills. Question is why can't the U.S. make this: the PIAA's are made in Japan.

I installed a set of these wipers last fall before the rainy season. These wipers are fantastic! No streaking or noise and they last a very long time. I used to replace my wipers about every 3 months because the streaking and noise drove me crazy.

I just took my car in for a 90k service and they did me a "favor" and replaced my wipers. The one year old PIAA wipers they replaced outperformed the brand new OEM wipers they just put on my car. The chattering is driving me crazy... Just ordered more PIAAs. They can't come soon enough!

PIAA Wipers claims are true. I installed the wipers according to their directions: Started with a clean, dry windshield; then I applied their special chemical mix to the windshield. After installing the new wipers, I noticed an instant difference: no noise, even when using the blades on a dry windshield!

In rainy conditions, the water beads on the windshield just as they claim. I've even been able to see clearly through the windshield in light rain conditions, without having to use the wipers!

Every now and then, I'll run the wipers dry to re-coat the surface of the windshield as PIAA recommmends.

I have had no problems whatsoever with these and will continue to use them for life.

Can't go wrong with PIAA. Last forever and swipe cleaner... Plus leaves a slight hydrophobic coating that enhances water blow-off. This size (24") is 5/16" versus the shorter ones that are only 1/4".

Really the best, and it is cheaper to just replace the squeege versus the whole stupid blade assembly.

Worked awesome as refills for my VW MKV Rabbit/Golf but then pretty much died a fast death after 3-4 months and I live in Seattle where temps are mild and it was when we really didn't have much rain (shocker). Since then have gone back to the dealership refills. Oh well...

I've used these for two years. I live in one of the wettest places in the USA (Pittsburgh has more rain than Seattle, folks), so I replace the blades every six months, and use PPG Aquapel glass treatment. Superior cleaning, no streaking, and long-lasting; what more could you want? The PIAA replacement wiper arms are great, better than OEM wiper arms, and the refills are reasonably priced.

These are made of a much higher quality material that last a lot longer in the high heat, high humidity of the deep south. They are worth the extra money, I use them on all of my vehicles.

Despite what amazon says, this wiper blade refill fits my OEM wiper blade for the driver's side. I also bought the passenger size PIAA super silicone which I think is 21". I saw somewhere it mentioned that the width could be incorrect for OEM blades, but I took a chance and they turned out to be the right width. It's been a fairly dry year, but on the few days that it has rained, they have worked great. I applied some rain-x first and these blade refills wipe very clean compared to the stock wiper refills I was using before. Very satisfied.

I installed these on my 2000 Chevy minivan and my 2009 Dodge Journey. I was able to put them on both vehicles without any problem. Preparing the windshield was easy and they wipers provided a streak-free performance immediately. I have driven through both rain and snow so far in somewhat cool to very cold weather in both vehicles. The wipers have performed just as promised on both vehicles. I am extremely impressed with the cold weather performance. I have only had them for about a month, but they are extremely flexible even at the coldest temperatures (10 degrees F so far.) I would highly recommend!
