My 3 year old daughter loves this! I love that it does not require batteries, and uses the simple force of gravity to brew the pretend coffee. We got it for 12.99, which was a perfect price! No leaks or breaks yet. There is even an on off switch at the top that she even remembers to use before removing the carafe.

We have been through a couple of coffee makers in my daughter's play kitchen, and this one seems to be doing well, mainly because it is not electronic, so the components shouldn't stop working if they get too much water in it. It's simple and doesn't leak, easy to use. We get served a lot of water-coffee on our house!
