DESIGNED FOR CARPETS AND HARD FLOORS

The AIRBELT K2 and K3 models are mid-size, powerful and lightweight canister vacuums featuring clever storage of three on-board attachments, easy bag changes, remarkably quiet operation, rubber-coated wheels to protect floor surfaces, a durable telescopic tube with quick-release connections, a full bag or clog warning light, and a soft bumper to protect the vacuum, furniture and walls from scuffs and scratches. The AIRBELT K3 model offers a commercial-quality power head, along with a hard-floor parquet brush. And its ergonomically designed handle, which also has a suction adjustment switch, provides user comfort and effortless control of the power head’s 180° steering ability.

Sebo Upright Vacuum Cleaner
A Flat-to-the-floor 3 ¼-inch Profile – The power head’s low profile makes cleaning under furniture and beds easy!

Durable, Maneuverable and Technically Advanced Power Head – The AIRBELT K3 comes standard with SEBO’s ET-1 power head, which effectively cleans both carpets and hard floors. It is 12-inches wide and offers four-level manual brush height adjustment. Also, to clean delicate rugs and hard floors with straight-suction cleaning, the brush roller can be manually switched off. Its 180° steering ability provides amazing maneuverability.

It also has easy brush removal, a handy clog removal door, and an orange warning light with automatic shut off for brush roller obstructions. The warning light also remains illuminated during use when brush height is set too high for optimal cleaning or when the brush roller should be replaced due to reaching maximum bristle wear.

AIRBELT K3

Suction Adjustment Switch on Handle – The vacuum’s suction power can be adjusted from 0 to 1,250 watts by a slider switch conveniently located on the handle of the K3, providing convenient suction control for normal to more delicate cleaning tasks.

Sebo Upright Vacuum Cleaner
Included Tools & Accessories
Three On-board Tools – The SEBO AIRBELT K models come standard with a crevice tool, dusting brush and upholstery nozzle. Also, many optional attachments are available that can be fitted to the telescopic tube or the hose handle.

Tug and Retract Cord Rewinder – The AIRBELT K models offer a “tug and retract” cord rewinder, instead of a control switch cord rewinder, which is offered on the AIRBELT D4 model.

Full Bag or Clog Light – When a full bag, a clog in the airflow pathway, or an excessively dirty microfilter is detected, an orange warning light, next to the green “on light,” on the canister body illuminates and an airflow bypass valve opens. This feature prevents overheating and motor damage from a lack of adequate airflow.

Large Operating Range – A 32-foot operating range, with a 20-foot cord, saves time because it minimizes the number of electrical outlets needed during use.

AIRBELT K’S FILTRATION SYSTEM

Bags are Better! Top-fill, three and four-layer bags are an integral part of SEBO’s filtration system because they hold virtually all dirt captured by the vacuum, which improves the effectiveness and useful life of the microfilters. They also ensure continuously strong suction because dirt enters from the top, deposits at the bottom, accumulates upward, and air exits through the sides, which allows unimpeded airflow as they fill to capacity. And they can be sealed when full, so no dust can escape into the air during bag removal and disposal.

In contrast, without bags to hold nearly all the captured dirt, the microfilters on bagless vacuums quickly clog from excessive dirt build-up and must be replaced often, or a loss of suction and cleaning effectiveness will occur. In addition, dust and other allergens become airborne when emptying bag-less dirt containers. Lastly, bagless vacuum microfilters are expensive, usually costing more than a multi-year supply of SEBO filter bags.

S-class Pre-motor Microfilters – S-class Pre-motor Microfilters (S = “Schwebstoff” = airborne particles) are made from electrostatically charged micro-fiber material, which attracts and captures dust particles from the airflow of the vacuum before it passes over the motor to cool it. Cooling the motor with super-clean air increases motor life and reduces the possibility of maintenance, even after many years of use. The S-class Standard requires filters to absorb greater than 99.9% of particles down to 0.3 microns in diameter. For comparison, 100 microns is the diameter of a human hair.

SEBO STANDARD FEATURES

Designed and Manufactured in Germany – Legendary quality, reliability and performance make SEBO vacuums the first choice of cleaning professionals throughout the world.

Excellent for Users With Allergies or Asthma – The British Allergy Foundation recommends SEBO filters.

Tightly Sealed Vacuums Ensure Effective Filtration – Dirty air, which flows through a vacuum, can only be filtered completely if it does not escape into the room through seams or seals in the machine. This is why all SEBO vacuums have tight seals throughout. Many vacuum companies with high-filtration claims are actually quoting specifications made by the manufacturer of the filter material, as measured in the laboratory, not the filtration effectiveness of the vacuum itself while operating. Whether or not dirty air can escape through leaks in the body of the machine is not considered. The filtration effectiveness of SEBO vacuums is tested while they operate.

Save Money! SEBO Vacuums Last for Years and Extend Carpet Life! – If properly maintained, SEBO vacuums save ordinary residential users hundreds of dollars by providing excellent performance for ten to fifteen years or more, and their deep-cleaning power-brush technology extends the life of carpets. Typical vacuums perform poorly, even when new, and usually do not last beyond two years. So six or seven “disposable vacuums” must be purchased during the average life expectancy of just one SEBO machine.

Five-year Warranty Coverage – All SEBO models include a five-year warranty on the motor and all non-wear parts and a five-year warranty on labor charges.

Effective Pet Hair Removal – All SEBO vacuums easily remove pet hair!

I am going to compare this machine to my 1998 Hoover Wind Tunnel upright vacuum cleaner. The Hoover needed a repair for the second time and I decided to retire it instead. Fourteen years is enough! This is when my troubles began. I read the customer reviews of Hoover vacuums here on Amazon, and on the Consumers Reports web site as well. I learned that Hoover vacuums had descended to the level of absolute junk. Use it a few times, and it breaks. I researched the other brands that I know: Kenmore, Electrolux, and Panasonic. Also junk! I eventually selected the SEBO K3.

The Hoover has much more suction than the SEBO K3. In fact, it is wonderfully powerful. It is also hugely, ridiculously loud. Unlike the SEBO K3, the Hoover is an upright vacuum. Ultimately, the choice between an upright and a canister vacuum is a matter of taste. But consider that the Hoover is self-propelled. It really is easy to use. The Hoover has a headlight. It also has a light that goes out when the section of carpet you are pummeling is clean. I really like that. These are features that the SEBO K3 lacks. Finally, the Hoover power cord is about twice as long as the SEBO K3.

The SEBO K3 is wonderfully quiet. The exhaust air passes through what looks like a cushy bumper around the perimeter of the canister. Hence, the name "Airbelt." This excellent design helps account for the quiet operation of the machine. This vacuum has a fingertip control right on the handle of the wand. This control allows infinite control over motor speed and hence suction. This control also allows you to turn the vacuum completely off. This is really nice: you don't have to bend over to turn the vacuum on and off. Finally, the SEBO has a very nice floor brush, and the Hoover has a bad one. You can buy a nice one for the Hoover though.

I had a Hoover Dimension 1000 for over 20 years. It finally had to be retired because parts are no longer available for it. I tried replacing it with an Oreck upright but missed the canister functionality so I returned the Oreck and replaced it with a Dyson canister. The Dyson works great on dust but does not work for my lifestyle. I have a paper shredder and when I dump it out sometimes pieces of shreds end up on the carpet. The Dyson could not handle those. The hole is too small and would clog. It have also found the Dyson to clog with pet hair which I have a ton of. In addition I have a pellet fire place that needs to be cleaned out. It seems that the Dyson can't handle that task. The sales person for this SEBO also did not recommend using it for cleaning out my pellet fire place but it needs to be cleaned out so some appliance needs to do it. I have not attempted that feat yet.

I just finished vacuuming the house with the new SEBO. I did not purchase it online but did pay 879 for it. It seems to have great suction. The cord let me vacuum the entire downstairs without having to change plugs. The large hole allowed it to pick up a piece of dog food from the carpet without problem. So far I'm very excited. Well worth the double price I think. I believe this one could last me another 20 years.

My Kirby finally gave up. I was looking for a vacuum with more functionality (like for vacuuming under furniture). I read consumer reports on their top rated vacuums, then read the reviews. Consumers hated those CR top rated machines. Then I read the reviews for the Sebo Airbelt K3. Although there weren't many reviews, the ones I saw were very complimentary. I took the plunge and ordered it. Yes I spent a little more, but boy did I get what I paid for. This machine is lightweight, good looking and works like a dream. It is the quietest vacuum cleaner I've ever seen (heard). I have 2 cats, so their hair shedding was always a concern. Not anymore. Thank you Sebo for an outstanding product.

I have had a sebo for about 8 years and I love it. Recently the powerhead died, and I brought it to my local dealer, and he said it would cost 275.00 to replace. I love my vacuum, but was not sure I wanted to put that kind of money into an older machine. I decided o give Sebo a call., to get their opinion. Well within 4 minutes, they knew exactly where and when I purchased the machine, they contacted the dealer, they treated it like it was under warrantly, (which it wasn't) and replaced it for free.(the pwer head). They contacted the dealer did all the work. The dealer called me and was so mpressed. So if you are making an expensive purchase it was amazing to now SEBO stands by its products. No hassell. They are an amazing company. I just saved myself almost $300.00. So deduct that from the original price. I would definely buy this vaccum knowing SEBO will stand by it. That is something you do not see ever. If I bought a vaccum that at a local store, forget it. That alone is worth buying this product. I got a rep within seconds calling them, just amazing. Worth every penny when you know they support their products. All this happened within 15 minutes of my call. So do not hesitate when buying this m machine.
