The entire line of Reveal bulbs, especially the 150/200 watt range are EXCELLENT for reading and also shooting video indoors. They should come with every sub-$300 Camcorder, and digital camera! lol
I have used 2 or 3 of them to create a poor-man's movie lighting. The cooler light really helps my consumer camcorders properly reproduce white balance, and colors in general. Used for reading, they really make text stand out on the page, especially someone like me who does not have the best eyesight.

I was a little concerned about purchasing light bulbs from Amazon. But, it doesn't appear that any were damaged in shipment. If you like the Reveal-style light, you'll like these.
