I bought this set mainly for the airplane adapter. Some airlines charge $5 to use their headphones and... who wants to use their headphones? That is sorta gross. So, I wanted an airplane adapter. It worked great, but as an added bonus, I could use the splitter inside the airplane jack and my husband and I could both listen to the same audio. I have no idea when I'll ever use the big honkin' stereo jack or the 6' extension cord. Maybe if I want to listen to my TV through the sound system over headphones while sitting on the couch? I can probably sell those two widgets on eBay and pay for the two I wanted! Nice deal.
