This grill was easy to assemble and is very attractive looking. There is only 2 of us to cook for unless I have guests, so this grill is a perfect size. The sides flip down so you can store it easily. As for cooking - the rotisserie burner is AWESOME! I used it twice since I received my grill a week ago. Cooks meat perfectly - juicy and delicious! The cooking times that are given in the owners guide are pretty accurate. The grill is solid, sturdy, and I look forward to getting a lot of use out of it. I found that it does have a "cold spot" when all 3 burners are on but at least now I know where it is and can adjust accordingly. I have purchased many LP grills over the years and so far this one is the best.

Excellent...
I have had almost every kind of grill out there. From the charcoal portables to the smokers to the huge stainless steel monsters from the home improvement big box stores. No other grill will heat up to over 700 Degrees and stay that way. This grill will go to 1,000+ degrees if left on high which is totally rad. Some grills say this and that according to their thermostats but when you cant even scrape off the grates without doing it in sections while it is heating up because its soo hot then that says something. When I fired it up for 5 minutes and then tried to scrape off the leftovers I actually got what looked like flash burns on my hands because it was producing soo much heat. So that was pretty sweet. Installation: It was straight forward with all the directions until the very end. There is a metal bar thats not in the drawings and after about a hour of trying to figure it out I almost gave up - But I figured it out. That metal bar is the heat shield for the hood - It goes right in front of the grates and acts as a heat shield for the bottom of the hood. It attaches to the lip on the bottom of the hood. It just sits over the lip between the bottom of the hood and the stainless grates. So that should help all those who are pissed off - : ] A grill is all about performance so dont get something that "looks" cool - get a grill that has the best burners in the industry. This grill slaps all the others in the face with searing hot spicy power slaps. I research everything and it paid off again so believe me when I say - This the one...Period.

This grill is the best grill I have ever used. Better than my big Weber Gold. Very even heat. An excellent grill-grate design. I put the Stainless Steel grates into the washing machine. Highly recommended with one small caveat regarding the terrible assembly instructions that are enclosed with the grill. Maybe the engineers at Broil King understand them, but an ordinary layperson cannot. The assembly instructions are lacking in detail to the point that you are forced to call their service department for help. One of the key parts (designed to prevent warping of the aluminum grill box)is never shown on the instruction pages and only shows up on the parts list and on an exploded diagram in such a way as you cannot tell where it goes. |
