4.0 out of 5 stars excellent! twists and turns you'd never expect!
I have read this and the 2 sequals and they were all non-stop twisting. Unable to put neither down I read all 3 books within 2 1/2 days. I would strongly reccommend this book to anyone who enjoys a story with uncountable, unexpected, unbelievable twists that keep you on edge until the very last word.

3.0 out of 5 stars Haunting, August 1, 2009
This review is from: 99 Fear Street: The First Horror/The Second Horror/The Third Horror (Fear Street Collector's Edition #11) (Paperback)
The first horror
This is the first in the 99 Fear Street trilogy, the house of evil. Twin sisters Cally and Kody aren't thrilled when their family move into the house that have stood empty for 3 decades. Soon weird things start happening; accidents occur, chunky green sour-smelling liquid pour out of the faucet, blood drips from the ceiling, and that's just the beginning...

The second horror
Brandt moves into 99 Fear Street, unaware that Cally's ghost still haunts the house.

The third horror
Kody returns to 99 Fear Street, hoping to set free Cally's ghost. But Cally doesn't want to be saved, she wants revenge.

I think this is a good trilogy, a nice take on the theme haunted house.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holy...these books were scary!, July 20, 2002
This review is from: 99 Fear Street: The First Horror/The Second Horror/The Third Horror (Fear Street Collector's Edition #11) (Paperback)
If you want a good scare, do yourself a favor and buy this trilogy of 99 Fear Street. These books scared me out of my wits! It's about a family of 2 girls, 1 boy, and a mother and a father. They move into 99 Fear Street--the house that even the residents on Fear Street are afraid to enter.(And I don't blame them!) These books are the most entertaining ever, and R.L. Stine is an absolute genius!

3.0 out of 5 stars The most frightening "Fear Street" novel of 'em all!!!, August 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 99 Fear Street: The First Horror/The Second Horror/The Third Horror (Fear Street Collector's Edition #11) (Paperback)
Even though this wasn't my favourite Fear Street novel, it still delivers and is worth reading! All about a haunted house with some suggested gore scenes! Almost like a teenage version of "The Shining", except alot better! There's two sequels to this book. I've read the second book, and it's better, and I've already got the third one, and can't wait to read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Some of the BEST Fear Streets ever!, July 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 99 Fear Street: The First Horror/The Second Horror/The Third Horror (Fear Street Collector's Edition #11) (Paperback)
This series I've read about six times. It gets to the point of absolute frenzy and then crashs down with an awsome ending. If you consider reading this one go for THE best series of any kind I've ever read- The Fear Street Sagas. That explains all about the Fier (Fear) Legacy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book! Couldn't put it down., February 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 99 Fear Street: The First Horror/The Second Horror/The Third Horror (Fear Street Collector's Edition #11) (Paperback)
I've read a lot of awesome books by R.L. Stine and this one was no exception. I went from one book to the other without putting it down. This book was totally unpredictable which is a reason in itself for reading it. Read it and experience R.L. Stines style of writing. This book gives you a view of evil and performs it very well. I totally recommend you read it. However it did have its weak spots like being totally nuts and totally fiction. Yes, DUH, it is supposed to be fiction but it can be a little bit nonfiction like Stines other Fear Street books.
