5.0 out of 5 stars If ten stars were possible, this would definitely recieve it
When I first bought this cd I admit, I didn't like it because it didn't sound like the No Limit I was used to. But now that I have finally soaked it in I can't get enough of this cd! Even though it was sample-heavy the production was excellent. Master P didn't sound like a Pac clone either. Too bad many artist don't sound like this anymore......P included.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok if someone gave it to you
This album isn't really worth the money unless you have a lot of extra money to spend. Tracks #3, #4, #5, #9, and #11 are alright but there's too many commercials for an album containing 13 tracks.

this is Master P's 4th CD and it's so hot.a must have classic and every song is tight I don't know maybe this is the best album from P.this is the old No Limit stuff it's G-Funk but it has also the No Limit Gangsta lyrics. many features,C-Murder,Silkk,King George,Big Ed and many more.I think in this time Master P was one of da best rappers out ,he's still good but the early P was way better.if u love good Hip Hop go and buy this CD. 5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Album!!!!!, April 12, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: 99 Ways to Die (Audio CD)
...This is vintage No Limit and Master P at his best. This came out when No Limit was still in Richmond, California and when P had his west coast rap style. It is one of his best albums behind "The Ghetto's Trying to Kill Me!" and "Ice Cream Man." It is also a collector's item that is very hard to find anywhere...If you can find one, get it because it is well worth it

5.0 out of 5 stars 99 Ways to Die is a Bay Area Classic and Must Have. Six outta Five Stars, September 20, 2005

The original pressing of this album cover had a shirtless Master P holding a pistol in each hand. This version is extremely difficult to find and sold out quickly. Shortly after the first pressing sold out, the version with red edges and a hearst on the cover was released. This version seems to be much more plentiful than the original pressing. If you ever come across a copy of the first version, gobble it up because it will soon be a collector's item. The album itself is CLASSIC NO LIMIT. The beats are incredible and the skits are pretty damn funny. This is a must have for any No Limit/Master P fan. Try getting the original pressing (up to 100 bucks), but settling for the rerelease version might be worth it because you won't have to wait to find the cd.

Once again, Master P provides us with another tight album! The best songs are 17 Reasons, Dead Presidents, When They Gone, the title track, and 1-900-MASTERP! If you like gangsta rap made 100% for the streets, buy this today!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good album, classic album., January 16, 2004
This review is from: 99 Ways to Die (Audio CD)
This album, like you know, is a masterpiece and all the No Limit collector.
This album is really good but the die is too omnipresent and it's the only -little- matter.
This cd is dedicated to the R.I.P Eric "Eazy E" Write and Kevin Miller the regretted brother of Percy "Master P" Miller also known as Nino Brown.
Don't forget it's a masterpiece and contains the hit "When they gone".
R.I.P Soulja Slim, Tupac, Eazy-E and Big Ed...

5.0 out of 5 stars Super classic, June 2, 2007

This is my favorite No Limit release other than Tru - True. It is solid all the way through and is way underrated.

4.0 out of 5 stars No Limit's last good album., January 19, 1999
This review is from: 99 Ways to Die (Audio CD)
This is Master P's best album. Even non No Limit fans could appreciate this CD. It was the last time P put it down over quality beats (produced by Al Eaton and Ken Franklin, NOT the wack, recycling company, Beats By The Pound), with motivating, orignial rhymes (he doesn't sound like a 2pac imatator on this CD). Too bad none of his newer albums sound anything like this.
