I picked up this June Yaoi because Amazon recommended it since I'm slightly addicted to BL. (There I said it) now I gave this book 3 stars for this reason:

For artwork, plot and characters is deserved 4.5 maybe 5 stars. I loved the details between the two brothers, the thought of the 'maria possession' and the battle scenes were excellent.

It got three stars because it was falsely advertised. This was not a yaoi, this was not a BL I'm not even sure why June picked up the manga. It had everything going towards that direction, two brothers, rivals, destiny, you're thinking this is going to be a forbidden love affair between them right? Wrong. There was no romance, no hint of romance, no kisses, no hugs, nothing!

So there, it was a very nice manga, it's a single shot, I can't see it branching out toward other volumes, but I was anticipating and expecting a yaoi, even extremely soft core (like up until the last episode of Gakugen Heaven) but there wasn't even a hint.

Like the other reviewer said, this IS falsly advertised. It's not yaoi, not even a hint of it. I was pretty dissappointed about that once I read it, but, I still think it's pretty good. If you're a big Makoto Tateno fan like me, you'll probably still want to get it just for the breathtaking artwork and sexy guys that are always present in her work. As the other review said, I'm not sure why this is catagorized as yaoi at all. Seriously, not even a kiss. There are some yummy guys and as I said, the artwork absolutely beautiful. So yes, I was dissappointed, but I can't be too upset. It's a decent story, and it's Makoto Tateno. (Ok, I'm a bit of a sucker for her work) Get this if you're a fan of Makoto Tateno, but be warned that there is no yaoi.
