The story is very funny and more than a little offbeat. Bob, the hero, is always up against it. He finds himself in one perilous situation after another. This kind-hearted and moral guy never seems to catch a break. Perhaps it's his innocence, or maybe it's his integrity that keeps him going and the reader rooting for him.

Bob Neebaum is a nice guy. A man who only seeks one thing in life: family. At one time he had a wife, but now he lives alone in New York City, a lonely delusional man. His slow descent into insanity is interrupted by an arrest and the reappearance of a long forgotten individual from his past who drags him on a strange journey through a bizarre world inhabited by people on the fringe.

The actual plot and the characters are difficult to describe without giving away too much of the story. A lot of the fun is in not knowing what is going to happen next to this poor guy. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, but it may not be for everyone. People who like: Kurt Vonnegut, Quentin Tarantino, or J.P. Donleavy, will probably enjoy this novel. I found it difficult to put down. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it's on my recommended reading list.

Well written tongue-in-cheek adventure comedy. Would make a good basis for a movie. Waiting for author's next novel to come out.

A bad husband can mean many things. "A Bad Husband" is a unique story of marriage gone mad, as Bob Neebaum becomes entangled in a lesbian romance as he goes with his ex-wife's lover to hunt her down across the country. In a series of events where nothing is as it seems, "A Bad Husband" is a fun read that shouldn't be missed.
