We started using this at our green cleaning company and wow does it work! It takes marker off of fridge and dishwashers, marks off walls and tables, and those pesky baked on stains on stove tops. It takes stains off of "stainless" steel sinks, soap scum out of tricky tile work in bathrooms. a little really does go a long way. I even was able to get old coffee mug stains off of counters! best cleaning product to have on hand! works best on a damp cloth, and use some elbow grease :)

I have a black electric stovetop. This product is the ONLY thing I have found that will clean it with no streaking. It is a pasty substance and needs some rubbing to clean, but wipe it with a dry cloth after and you will be pleased with the results. It seems pricey, but a little goes a long way.

Permanent marker...Gone!
Racquetball walls...like brand new again!
Mildew stains...obliterated!

I restore surfaces that no one else can in the cleaning industry. 35% hydrogen peroxide, pure sodium hydroxide, sulfamic acid, and a few other concentrated cleaning agents are my staples. And when the stain is so tough that those agents fail to bring it clean, I reach for A-Ben-A-Qui.

I have to purchase A-Ben-A-Qui online now as the local vendor who got me hooked on it years ago had to stop carrying it. The reason? It lasts for so long that none of his customers (save me) ever had to buy more. I would bet a single tub should satisfy the average person for several years, perhaps even decades. And the product never goes bad, either. Someone once gave me an old, old tub of theirs that had dried out. I mixed some water with it, and it turned back into a paste again just like new.

Three cautions.

First, if you use it to remove permanent, magic marker from a white board (people without kids probably won't have this problem), the marker will come off just fine, but then normal white board markers won't erase from the white board surface very well afterwards.

Second, this product is best for small jobs. If you need to do anything approaching 50 square feet or more, you may want to consider other options such as painting, replacement, or professional cleaning.

Third, while it works great on mildew stains (in the tub or wherever), I wouldn't use it to remove hard water buildup. I recommend you consider either phosphoric acid (sinks, shower heads, & indoor water fountains) or sulfamic acid based cleaners (outdoor water fountains, thick scaling, etc.). Also, consider Vani-Sol (also available on Amazon) for your toilets. That product worked miracles that saved my staff hundreds of hours at a high profile facility.

To sum up: A-Ben-A-Qui is a must have in one's cleaning arsenal. Five stars for sure.

This cleaner takes marks off just about anything without a trace of residue. We use both professionally for our facility cleaning business and at home as well. I ordered this tub for my home builder/remodeler as I gave him a small amount to try and he used it up in no time and was wowed with the results!

A tub lasts a long time also as you don't need much of the paste. It's the best cleaner EVER!!!!!

Two words - buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Hands down the best cleaning product I have ever used, and it can be used on SO many things. It works wonders on a glass stove top, works great to clean soot and creosote from pellet and wood stove glass, and will simply remove the most stubborn of marks.

Our house is never without at least one tub of this great cleaner.
