I bought this and A bit of Applause for Santa Claus as a gift exchange with my book club. This really got everyone (all women) laughing...

I bought this book for my mother and my sister. When we were children, my mother always read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to us on Christmas Eve. This book mimics the rhyme and theme of the poem, but replaces the text with fun rhymes that acknowledges the hard work that Mrs Claus puts into Christmas (as Moms know, Santa's efforts are nothing without his wife's support!). I loved the illustrations, they are whimsical and colorful. I even purchased a matching ornament for my mother and she is just thrilled with it! I just purchased another copy for a friend of mine for next year!

I bought one of these books, and after I read it, I bought another.
I gave them as Christmas gifts to two very busy and tired moms, and
both of them LOVED the book! It was nice to get a laugh out of
them, and I'm sure I'll be buying more copies of this book next December!

This little gem should make children think of the effort put into Christmas, other than by Santa. A very humorous and indirect accolade to all Mums at Christmas time.

Adorable, meaningful, perfect for that woman in your life that is the hostess and the mother and the caretaker, etc. This will be a Christmas present for my Mom. Adorable illustrations and fun rewording of the "Twas the night before Christmas." Great stocking stuffer as it is a smaller size book than average.

Everyone makes such a big deal over Santa Claus, but they forget the real work is done by Mrs. Claus. Written in the same style as "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and appreciated by all of the women in my study group. Would recommend this for a stocking stuffer to your favorite "Mrs. Claus".
