About the Author
Bettye Johnson's background is a tapestry of experiences. Her first earnings came from picking cotton in Texas as a little girl. Leaving Texas after college, she worked in the Foreign Service branch of the U.S. State Department with tours of duty at the embassies in Paris and Tokyo. After resigning, she has been a wife, mother, government employee, a Federal Women's Program Coordinator for a government district office, program director for a holistic and is the author of a best-selling novel, "Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls." She has always had a passionate quest for knowledge. Bettye makes her home in rural Washington state when she is not conducting workshops on The Divine Feminine, Mary Magdalene and the Black Madonna, having speaking engagements or book signings.
