Very good flash drive.

Get something else that has a little more rugged construction, especially if you carry it in your pocket, backpack, or whatever.

I carry dozens of files, and could carry many more.

Have been using it for over 6 months and it works perfectly. I've gotten out of the habit of erasing ANYTHING with this much storage. Some might not like the light plastic feel, but frankly, I find it nice to have something so small and light and not take up too much bulk in my pocket.

When I was working on my MBA I used a space constrained 512k flash drive. Eventually I upgraded to 1gig, but still found that files needed to be transferred and deleted.

The A-DATA 4gig drive solved this problem. I carry dozens of files, and could carry many more. The rock-bottom price is amazing. They did get a little fancy with the plastic cover for the USB connector; it has a small clip to hold it in place (squeeze to release).

5 Stars with no reservation. ~CTC

Quick and easy is a very appropriate rating of this little jewel.
I had never used one before and it took me all of 15 min. to get comfortable with this. I see many uses for this flash drive.

I have not had any issues with A-Data USB flash drives, and this one delivers as expected.

Good: 4GB storage holds many files, and useful for business document backups, runs fine on windows, durable design (had a 1GB for over 2 years and it still works).

Bad: A little slow - took 45 minutes to load-up 2GB in one go, cap clips may brake.

Overall: Cant beat this and I would recommend it to anyone.

I searched everywhere possible with all the search engines. for a 4gb, this is the best price. be advised, the shipping is almost the same as the cost of the device, but still, overall, very cheap. the device itself: it does what it is supposed to do: store 4gb of data. enjoy!

I purchased this USB flash drive looking for portable storage but was disappointed when it stopped working almost immediately. Would not recommend to anyone.

Somebody gave me an Adata My Flash a little over a year ago, and I had been using it to keep backups from my checkbook program. When I got it, the first thing I noticed was that it formatted to 3.75GB rather that the 4GB that was advertised on the package. Oh well, what's 250MB among friends?

I've been keeping the flash drive on my table rather than toting it around in my pocket or backpack. Yesterday, a small piece of flimsy plastic broke off right where the cheap plastic cover meets the metal USB plug, and then the electronic guts fell out of the plastic cover and hit the floor. I was fortunate, and was able to get the the data off the Adata, but I don't trust it anymore. I'll format it, toss it in the trash, and get another one from Amazon like a Patriot or something.

So my suggestion to you is don't waste your money on an Adata My Flash. Get something else that has a little more rugged construction, especially if you carry it in your pocket, backpack, or whatever. Adata cut the corners on this one just a little too close.

I got two of em a year ago. They plug and play plenty fast. Copying files with USB still isn't up to firewire speed but these won't disappoint. The 4gb size is great as I like to play around with Photoshop, often ending up with a 80mb file. The drive doesn't seem to slow at all as its filled up. The little orange tail light tells when files are exchanged, a nice touch. If anything could be improved it's the looks. Those looking for a fancy high fashion flash had best keep looking. For everyone else, the A-Data is fantastic! Haven't had any problems, they work just like my first flash drive I got 4 years ago; and that one was only 1gb and cost $75.
