I've taught Creative Writing courses at both the high school and college level (Rutgers University). I have also taught Expository and Technical Writing at the college level. I've worked as an academic librarian and an educational media specialist.

Eleven of my books of fiction have been published. The third of three mystery novels, THE TRUTH SLEUTH, was published in hardcover by Five Star/Gale May 18th. A large print edition is forthcoming. All three novels in this series received excellent reviews from BOOKLIST among others. Sara Paretsky wrote a blurb/endorsement for THE INFERNO COLLECTION which appears on the cover of that mystery thriller. THE DROWNING POOL, the second novel in this series, will be published in paperback
by Harlequin Worldwide Mystery in February 2012. Five Star/Gale will publish a new mystery thriller DEATH LEGACY in hardcover March/April 2012.

My paranormal historical romance TEA LEAVES AND TAROT CARDS received an excellent blurb endorsement from Jayne Ann Krentz which appears on the cover of that novel, published both as a hardcover from Five Star/Gale and in large print from Thorndike Press in December. STACY'S SONG, a YA coming of age novel, has unilaterally received good reviews.

My short stories, poems, essays, reviews and articles have appeared in hundreds of publications such as: THE WRITER, THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, PEDESTAL, SURREAL, LIBRARY JOURNAL, AFTER DARK and PUBLISHERS WEEKLY. I've also won multiple awards for fiction, poetry and plays.

Colorful illustrations and informative writing make this an ideal picture book for Halloween or an other time of the year. This picture book is suited to elementary school children. It is includes facts and legends about the pine barrens of New Jersey and the Jersey Devil. But most of all, it has a good story, one to which children everywhere can relate. Andy, with the help of his Dad, learns how to confront fear and overcome it. A good read for parents and children alike!
