This is a wonderful children's book with a sweet story about the bonds of family, told through the perspective of a family of geese. The illustrations are beautifully drawn, the story is engaging and entertaining, and the characters are lovable. Everyone should have a great time enjoying this story with their children and grandchildren.

This is an engaging children's story that is beautifully illustrated with very bright, charming pictures. The story provides a glimpse into the everyday life of a family of geese in a way that even very young children will understand. Children of all ages will relate to Rufus as someone who wants what he wants RIGHT NOW! They will identify with him as someone who doesn't always listen to Mother, someone who gets scolded, but taught. The struggle to belong, to find one's place in the family and then in the world are universal themes that face us all. This story ends with the reader longing for more.

This is a charming children's story introducing them to the concept that geese (and other animals) have families just like they do. The illustrations are lovely.
