Viviana Guzman shares her innermost feelings and heart-felt expressions of her very being in "Love Soliloquies". She takes her readers on a romantic journey through emotional mountains, plateaus and valleys as she describes the longings, challenges, sensualities, and joys that accompany or follow virtually all intense love experiences.
Reading Viviana's poems validated for me an idea that as we travel through life, we can maintain our love of self and others and continue to contribute to the constant betterment of life regardless of love's constant companion, pain.
Somehow, Viviana has managed in "Love Soliloquies" to combine her flutist gifts to humanity with her poetry, a wondrous combination indeed.

Having listened to Viviana's brilliant flute performances that
span spectrums of intense vivid color balanaced with the sweet
etheral pastels of sonic caress I was ready to partake of the
mesmerizing soul portraits her poetry would surely deliver. I
was totally drawn into her writing and read the work in one
setting and then went back and read it again. If there is ever
a dynamic work that reveals all the facets of "love" by one soul
who has experienced them, this is it.. All the emotions
that effect us in our own experiences of comingface to face with love
can be found here. The alluring mystery we call love is surely
to be found in the joy and pain she gives to us in her simple to
complex aruas of her imagery. We can really appreciate her
for the beautiful music she gives us but
the poetry allows us to
really understand the deep soul aspirations
that forge the foundations of this
multi-talented diva with both the
creative fiat and the sonic visions
the words inspire. When the breath of life
can be taken in by such a beautiful persona
and then given back to the world
in beautiful music God has surely witnessed one
of his charming miracles. Now Viviana has taken it one step
further to show us her heart, amidst her art,
and allow us to share all
of its collective passions.
This poetry is a must for all
who wish to love, are in love, have
fond memories of love
and especially for those who may have never
tried to love. Get it! Read it! Love it!

Reading Viviana Guzman's poetry is much like experiencing an amazing symphony that enters the heart, igniting a deep core that is a longing for love and for union. The four movements of her evocative poems speak of life experiences that we all have or had and let us look into the soul of a beautiful woman who has felt the pain and the celebration of love and life in equal intensity. I take this delightful collection with me on many of my journeys and feel grateful for the wondrous emotion it stirs in me. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to feel their heart!!!

Often poetry is detached, but with Viviana Guzman's book of poetry, there is intensity and passion on every page. I would highly recommend this book.
