If you love this much-ignored spinoff of The Andy Griffith Show and it's wonderful attention to detail, and performers like Ken Berry, Arlene Golonka, etc, this amazing book is for you. Free of backstage gossip, it is instead an **exhaustive** guide to every single episode--detailed plot descriptions and neat little moments from every show, trivia, amazing rundowns of actor and guest actor career histories, etc. I don't think there is another book about a TV series quite like it. The loving research justifies the somewhat hefty price tag. This is not a "pop" TV book. This is truly for the fan. If you are a fan, this is the book for you.
