    5.0 out of 5 stars "Halloween Is Coming"......."Fun Story".......... September 12, 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This just a happy bedtime story that shows children ages 2-4 that "Halloween Night" is just pure fun..It should appeal to both boys and girls..This author's illustrations are always cute, bright and colorful..Even when it comes to black cats, witches riding on a broomsticks, ghosts and scary, costumed trick or treaters..It rhymes perfectly and formatted so it matches the pictures..Not all author's take care in doing that..I have come across many childrens books, especially for little ones that the pictures are on one page and words to the story on another..What that tends to do is lose their interest and confuse them...

So, read your little one this cute, rhyming story which makes my niece giggle...From the pictures you will see a happy boy getting his pumpkin basket ready for sweet treats on "Halloween"...You could even teach them about different costume ideas from this story....

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute Halloween story December 14, 2012

The illustrations were really nice but there were some problems with the rhyming. Every so often the author fell out of rhythm with the wording and it was a little distracting.

I love how it rhymes! My 3 year old sat for the whole story and was excited to see the witch illustrations as that is what she chose to dress up as this year for Halloween. Great story and beautiful illustrations!

Such a cute book. We loved to read it up until Halloween. She even took her kindle to school and was able to share with the class.

2.0 out of 5 stars What? Confusing! October 12, 2014

I read the great reviews. I wanted a nice little Halloween story to read my child. I'm not sure if this is the same story people were reading about. It wasn't cute. It really didn't make much sense. My kid was disinterested and so was I. I'm really upset that I spent 99¢ on this. It was VERY over priced for what we got. Don't waste your money, even if it's not even a buck. Not happy!!

    More About the Author

Laura grew up in Scotland and moved to the United States when she was eleven. She says, "I had the best childhood, playing my days away in the lowlands. There was always something to get up to, whether it was exploring some old ruins or running down to the sweet shop for a bag of treats, I won't forget it."

She spent her first two years in college writing poetry and started publishing in 2011.

Writing is her passion. She is always creating children's books, drawing inspiration from nature and her two little ones.
