Book Description

December 19, 2008
There is a science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic...
-Wallace D. Wattles

In this age when the most powerful economy in the world is in recession and global markets are in turmoil, it wise to go back to the basics and see what went wrong. Was it the innate riskiness of derivatives and other complex financial instruments? Or the instability of the housing market and loans? Or maybe it was the aggregate greed of a horde of high-powered executives?

One thing is for sure: something definitely is wrong. Maybe it is how people look at money in the first place. Many believe that paper money is real, that it carries with it actual purchasing power. But in fact it is only legal tender almost a polite phrase for legal fiction and is just an invented symbol that allows the convenient exchange of goods and/or services.

This insistence on going beyond appearances and into the real nature of things is one of the guiding principles espoused in David Cameron Gikandi s A Happy Pocket Full of Money: Your Quantum Leap into the Understanding, Having, and Enjoying of Immense Wealth and Happiness. The subtitle is more than just a figure of speech this book shows how recent discoveries in theoretical physics are actually relevant in the creation of personal wealth.

Using a step-by-step approach and explained in straightforward language, A Happy Pocket Full of Money discusses these fascinating insights and lets readers see how their act of observation can actually affect that which is being observed a profound view with much bearing on those who want to create wealth.

If you want to be on the path towards financial independence and prosperity, then take the first step and have A Happy Pocket Full of Money.

This book is the one that started Bob Doyle's (in "The Secret" movie) Wealth Beyond Reason journey in the LOA and spiritual genre, and is required reading in his "Wealth Beyond Reason Coarse" (which is great too!). I originally listened to his audiobook and read the e-book before this was published. In fact, I contacted Gikandi many times PLEADING with him to publish a hard copy and finally here it is!

I have been a student of LOA and metaphysics for over 6 years and have read about every book written (Hick's, Catherine Ponder, Ernest Holmes, Joseph Murphy, Proctor, Vitale, J. A. Ray, Michael Losier, Canfield, to name a few) and this book covers EVERYTHING! I cannot describe how eloquent and proper the author writes, the wording and language used sounds as if he was being channeled by the "Oh-mighty" one himself.

If I had to choose 2 books I could only read or own, it would be this and The Power of Your Subconscious Mind without a second thought. "Happy Pocket" starts from how the monetary system works then explains Quantum Physics in a very understandable way, covers LOA that takes all the authors books I mentioned above all intertwined into this book, how to think and speak, much more than able to write, and finally ending with investing information.

I am not exaggerating one bit in this review, and if anything, I am probably not doing it justice... I hope you find this review helpful and hope this book helps you as much as it has me.... Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Book! This Book Will Change Your Life! May 12, 2009
Format:Paperback
I absolutely LOVED this book! No other book has explained "Wealth Consciousness" better than this book. We all know the basics of The Law of Attraction/Law of the Universe, but this book explains exactly, in detail, how it works and why it works. This book tells you exactly WHAT to do, and HOW to do things to maximize your wealth consciousness. What's great is that you can use this book for not only wealth, but for anything in life! Thank you so much for writing this book, I am so grateful that I came across this amazing book. Thank You!

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful book on money mindset October 23, 2009
Format:Paperback
I heard about this book because it was mentioned by Dave Ramsey, the radio talk show host.

If you enjoy books like the Secret, you will like this one. It is a "wealth mindset" book that discusses your mental attitude toward money, including saving, giving, charity, and all the other issues we face when dealing with money.

If you are under the belief that "money doesn't grow on trees" or heard things like "Do you think I'm made of money?" when you were growing up, you will get a lot out of this book. It totally changed my mindset and thoughts about money and everybody I talk to who has read it has had similar results.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book I've ever read February 13, 2010
Format:Paperback
Warning: this book is heavy duty stuff. It will blow your mind into little bitty pieces, but will also slowly reassemble it back much better than before. This is the best book I've ever read, period. It is life changing, if you allow it to be. If you have a hard time getting on board with organized religion (like me), and you need science to "prove it" to you, you really should read this book. It will fill in all the gaps.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book I've Read In Years!!!! September 25, 2009
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Over the past couple of years I have read a lot of books about the law of attraction, the power of now, the power of feelings etc. All of my previous reads have led me to this awesome book.

In the past I struggled with marrying my spiritual principles with science. This book eloquently does that with ease. I feel very enlightened and am grateful for the guidance this book provides. The section which talks about "I AM" statements hit me in the head like a brick. I get it.

My desire is to be able to tell as many people as I can about this book and how it's made an impact on my life. The message is powerful, absorbable, and a gift to someone like me who knew certain things about my spiritual life but couldn't quite articulate how those things transferred into my physical life.

I have only good things to say about this book: I AM WEALTH, I AM ABUNDANCE, I AM JOY!

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical & Achievable! May 27, 2010

Excellent advice throughout the book. Explains what you need to know about Quantum Physics and how to achieve the state of being which enables one to create all they desire. The profound truth (and its results) within this book, I achieved 20 years ago. It enabled me to manifest exactly what I desired, instantaneously! As soon as I desired something, it manifested! I was reading "Three Magic Words" by U.S. Andersen during that time and his book excited me to the point of unfaltering belief. Throughout my life, I experienced little miracles and my best friend would always tell me that I "was the luckiest person she knew". Andersen's book verified for me that there was much more to life than what we see; ignited me to the point of total belief and trust in a God unseen; I "let go".

A Happy Pocket Full Of Money is the instruction manual on how to reach that blissful state of creation. If only I had Michael's book
to guide me during that time, I wouldn't have quit! When you reach the state of INSTANT manifestation, it can be a bit frightening. You might question what is happening to you; your family/friends might look at you strangely or think you strange; but don't let it deter you from the magic! Stay with it! You will adjust!

Be sure to include the daily meditation - and you might try group meditation 1-2 times per week which will greatly enhance your own daily meditation. Definitely suggest aiming for a childlike state of belief, joy and bliss and a TOTAL trust in God, Source, Universe; whatever you feel comfortable naming this wonderful power and gift. I gave myself totally over to God and awoke in a state of bliss. My thoughts began manifesting as soon as I thought them. Blew me and my neighbors away! Be prepared for the experience of your lifetime!
