Impressive Multimedia CD about Islam
This multi-media CD is very impressive. The collection of materials is really unique. It has a wide-range of topics that is needed by any one who needs to explore this great religion; ISLAM. The use of graphics, texts, sound, and video added more beauty to its beauty. So far, I have not seen a similar CD. It can be used as a learning tool as well as a presentation tool...

There is an increasing interest to read and an upsurge of activity to bring out books on Islamic topics as a reaction or response to the events of September 11. To neutralize the heightened feelings and the social and political developments that followed, there is still a need to provide more information, especially in a multimedia format, to the ordinary people and the specialists, highlighting the true meaning and the true message Islam stands for. A Journey to Explore Islam CD-ROM is a welcome effort in this direction. It is a useful source of information on Islam and Muslims.
A Journey to Explore Islam is a good tool. A free demo on its Web site (http://www.journeytoislam.com) provides much insight into the details. In addition, it offers to view the shorter version by downloading, just for free (40 Mega bytes). The CD-ROM is designed to work in Windows (operating systems) 95, 98, NT, 2000, and XP. |
