I've never been a fan of Mayday Parade even after several of my friends tried to push their music on me, I finally broke down and bought this album used and I was so shocked to find out how great this album really is, this is one of the very few albums I can listen all the way through from start to finish, I can't skip a song or pick a favorite. All these songs are very catchy and have great lyrics.. This album has turned me into a Mayday Parade fan.. Now I am kicking myself for skipping out on the 3 Mayday Parade concerts that my friends begged me to go to, but I passed up.

Mayday Parade has been my favorite band for some time now. I've seen them in concert and met and spoken to a few of them and they're all nice guys who really know what they're doing when it comes to songwriting.

Granted, one of the integral parts of their vocal delivery and lyric-writing, former member Jason Lancaster, is no longer with the band (which is very disappointing). However, Derek Sanders, Jake Bundrick, and Jeremy Lenzo all have amazing voices in their own rights and I don't see this band slowing at all despite the loss.

From the very first song on this CD you will be drowned you in an assault of soaring vocals, infectious guitar melodies, and booming drum beats and bass lines that never lets up.

I give every song on this CD five stars and I would give this album more than five stars if it was possible. I love this CD and this band and I can't wait for another release from Mayday Parade. It's sure to be yet another album worthy of wearing out in your stereo.

I just got this CD, 100% Completely impressed. I know you can just go on YouTube, But It's cooler to have the actual album. This is my personal favorite, and not to mention totally bad-ass. This is one to buy!

So this is a fantastic album, but that track listing is wildly inaccurate. None of those are even Mayday Parade songs.....

I love this album.... Its easy to tell when you listen that they guys put a lot of heart in to what they are playing and singing. Their songs, for me at least, are also very easy to relate to. If you've been through heartbreak and know what it feels like, take a listen. They are much better than a lot of new bands I've heard that people seem to glorify. They are awesome live, too, which I love. I respect the fact that they sound just as amazing live as they do on the album, so its easy to see there's not a lot of editing that needs to be done. These guys are great and I would advise anyone who likes good music to buy their CD.

A lesson in romantics is, in my opinion, mayday parades best album thus far. The lyrics expressed on this album are just so deep and catchy that you won't want to stop listening. I have been listening to this album since it first came out and i am pleased to say that it never gets old for me and i will always be singing along with a smile on my face.

If you love Mayday parade then get this album, its great. One of my favorite songs is "I'd hate to be you when People Find out what this song is about" I always laugh at their super long titles. If you love mayday parade check out Boys like Girls, All Time Low, or We the Kings. Get this album

This cd is great. I really enjoyed most of the songs. i dont care for some. If you like bands such as: all time low and paramore, buy this cd! its good and you wont regret it. notable tracks: jamie all over, black cat, when i get home your so dead, miserable at best

wow. that pretty much entails my review for this cd. the loser who gave it one star either hates good music or was mistakedly listening to coldplay while writing his review. and these are some of the most amazing, poetic lyrics i've heard for some time, backed up by great instrumental parts. definitely should check this cd out.

this is honestly an amazing album. every song offers something different. && the fact that the guys r majorly chill in person just makes it that much better. u'll love it! btw, the last track is the best. ;)
