Book Description

In a place where fantasy and reality meet, anything is possible.

1586. The Midsummer's Festival has found its way back to Nottingham. Lady Anne Halloway walks the paths of the festival on the arm of her betrothed, Nottingham's own Lord High Sheriff Jameson Kent.

2012. Sammie Hallows loves nothing more than acting in the Renaissance Faire. There was something special about bringing history to life. There was something special about merging fantasy and reality. Through her character Lady Anne, Sammie lives a life that most can only dream of living.

But when an unexpected twist of fate sends Sammie back to a 16th century Midsummer's Festival, the fantasy turns dark. Reality becomes a nightmare.

For Sammie, it will not be a normal Midsummer's Day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Travels Through Time! March 19, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I love this book! It is well written and easy to read. It takes place at a Renaissance Faire, which I have been too, and so relate to many of the events and shows the author refers to. I love how the author takes her experience at the faire and places those memories, thoughts, and emotions into a book with characters that are easy to get to know and feel for. The main female character Sammie Hallows plays Lady Anne who, in the faire setting, is betrothed to Nottingham's High Sheriff Jameson Kent. Sammie has another friend, Vaughn, who has feelings for her. But what happens when Sammie and her friend Vaughn are transported back in time, only to find they must find a way back to 2012, is just something I cannot reveal here. You will have to read the book if you want to find out how and IF they make it back. Will totally read this book again and it is great for any historical fiction lover!
