I like this CD a lot! It has a downtempo feel with nice vocals and some interesting compositions that feature classical instruments. I got mine from blisteringrecords (dot com) which was a total surprise if you know the typical offerings from this label. blisteringrecords usually features hardcore sounds which this definitely is not. This is more experimental and quite good!

Better than bad, it's good!,

Hard to describe but easy to enjoy, Mandrake Project's "A Miraculous Container" is a maniacal concoction of genre defying cinematic-style compositions that will blow you away, and leave you wanting more.Like the soundtrack to a great movie or a dream that you don't want to end, the album takes the listener on a sublime and cathartic journey through many different but compatible styles of music seamlessly from start to finish, with each piece leaving you wondering what could possibly come next. I listened to the CD 5 times the day I got it and heard something different each time. (First time I thought I heard some Jeff Buckley meets Sigur Ros influences with world beat and American funk(y) percussion bits thrown in along with an added touch of smoldering New Orleans sax...Next time I heard classical Ravel and instrumental rock opera...etc) If you're on the fence about this one, climb over and pick it up, you won't be disappointed!
