Silvertide's "Show and Tell" is still one of my favorite albums. I thought Walt's next project, Automatic Fire, was pretty great as well, but I longed for Silvertide to reunite. When I heard about Walt and Nick getting back together to form Sinai, I was so excited. It's a shame more people haven't taken notice, because these guys have a rare chemistry.

Sadly, "A Pinch of Chaos" was a bit of a disappointment for me. Sure, it's got some good melodies and guitar solos, but the production is beyond shoddy. I was hoping for something up to the standard of "Show and Tell", but this isn't even close to the "Automatic Fire" production value. It really does sound like a garage demo with great guitar work, decent vocals, and so-so drumming.

The production really is unfortunate because a lot of the songs on this album have great potential. You can hear the strength of the melodies, the passion of the vocals, and the tastefulness of the guitar work. Had it been recorded better, it might well be a great record.

I would recommend this album to any Silvertide fan curious about what Walt and Nick have cooked up. But beyond that, I don't see this album going anywhere.

Silly 80's style lyrics. I was really hoping that this would be similar to Silvertide, but it's not at all. Silvertide's "Show & Tell" was a great album but this is completely different. Would not recommend. Maybe I'll go back & try Automatic Fire.

Stumbled upon this and listened to the samples. I love Silvertide and wish they were still together but it seems as though they will be one of those bands that comes out with an absolute kick butt first full length album and then they are gone. These songs from Sinai are not interesting at all and sound quality is poor.
