Book Description

November 28, 2011
The end of the world was just the start of their problems... A Rapturous Occasion is a novel about The Lyons, a wealthy middle-aged couple who believe the end is nigh. To ensure their loved ones are taken care of after The Rapture, they write three letters, each containing $1,000 and notes of condolence. The letters are addressed to: Sarah, their daughter who married a Marxist; Leah, their goddaughter who was cut off for enrolling in a class on evolution; and Carl, their former housekeeper who was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. This is a book that will keep you laughing as you furiously turn the pages, anxious to learn what happens when the characters inevitably collide. One thing is certain, it will make for A Rapturous Occasion.

This book is worth the read. I made about 2 attempts to read it but kept getting interupted. But once I decided I was going to read this book, my world virtually stopped until I got to the end! Kept my attention, and enjoyed every minute. Can't wait to see more from this guy!
