If you are into the real life mystery genre, you'll probably like this series, which features interviews with family members as well as reenactments by actors. Sometimes the disappeared turn up, and sometimes they don't. It's surprising and disturbing the number of people like you and me who vanish into thin air and are never found. (The couple from the suburbs who inexplicably walked across the border of Mexico with their two preschool kids and were never seen again still haunt me.) Don't expect masterfully written text and high class drama--this series is strictly nitty gritty. (Sometimes the the dissonance of appearance between family members and the actors who play them is a bit unnerving.) Still, you might find yourself hooked.

This is one of the best shows that has come around in a long time. It's so interesting, yet scary at the same time. This show's really opened my eyes to the mysteries and dangers around us in this world that I didn't even realize were there. I feel so sorry for the families of these poor missing people!

Love this show brings me hope that The Missing can be found, or someone may come forward with Information. This show keeps The Missing and The Faces of so many out there for all of to see. So they are never forgotten. WTG !! Discovery

I absolutely LOVE this show! Ive seen about 60 episodes now and it makes me want to run out and look for these poor, lost souls and give their familes some relief. My heart and prayers go out to all of them, and I pray that justice comes soon! These monsters who have taken and hurt these INNOCENT victims WILL get theirs. I hope they live in guilt and fear (like they put the victims thru) all the days of their lives and look over their shoulders every minute!

I wish I had a hundred seasons of this show. I'd watch them on an endless loop.

Disappeared has had its production values increase over the life of the show, and it has only enhanced my enjoyment of it.

Equal parts heart wrenching & absorbing. The families, friends & missing are compelling in the raw emotions. Thoughts of them linger long after viewing.
