I see the Amazon reviewer compares this to Bowie w/ a hint of reggae...maybe so, but I think a more accurate comparison is to Thomas Dolby and Prefab Sprout. In making this anaolgy ,Hudson's album doesn't compare to Sprout's Two Wheels Good-which I personally consider a masterpiece- but does offer a strong set of consistent tunes for those that enjoy the likes of Dolby, Prefab Sprout,Haircut 100,etc,etc,.

Great album. No wonder Kanye had him produce and write some of 808s. Can't wait for his solo album dropping in August.

This is a great indie rock album with a laid-back hip-hop vibe to it. All the songs are catchy and have understated energy.

One of the standout tracks is Covergirl which might be my favorite despite vaguely sexist lyrics. I don't like sexism but that song is just so dope I can't help but call it my favorite.
