Power Rangers Zeo is AWESOME!!! I loved watching it as a kid. It was the next evolution of Power Rangers after Might Morphin Power Rangers. From the opening show music to all of the cool Ranger costumes, Zords and Characters. It was great to see Jason David Frank (who played Tommy Oliver) as the Red Zeo Ranger and leader of the Power Rangers. The Gold Ranger was a huge surprise as well, especially when his identity was revealed. The entire Power Rangers Franchise is great and I am very happy they are still around today. 20 years strong and still going!!!

The Power Rangers are back in Power Rangers Zeo. this is the new power rangers show that left off the original show and alien rangers. with the rangers new powers the zeo crystals they now face an even worse enemy the machine empire which is ruled by king mondo and his wife machinea and their son prince sprocket. the rangers need this new power to defeat them. this is a great show. but I still do favor the original. this is a great season and here are the best episodes of season 1

This season is so homophobic and heterosexist you almost have to laugh at it's lack of subtlety. All of the characters including the villains are in an inauthentic relationship with the opposite sex. (You know, because robots can get married just so long as the're not both men.)The woman are walking stereotypes. The white girl is frail, mousse and in constant need of male rescue (i.e. Tommy). The black girl is overtly aggressive with a quet ghetto repertoire. And , every time you see a male character; he's engaged in some ritualistic chest-beating activity (such as weight lifting while wearing a wife-beater) to help reinforce his obnoxious macho-bravado. And the gold ranger (Jason) is so arrogant and self obsessed, I can't help but cringe every time I see that slap worthy grin on his face. They should've left him exactly were they found him, in the unemployment line. Billy, who should have been the gold ranger, flees the earth to be with an alien girl, you know, because that's precisely what Elton John did before he came out of the closet. Meanwhile, back on the moon; Lord Zedd who has a license to drive serpentera, is riding around in an resold R.V. with his wife Rita, a marriage for which the I.R.S. will happily recognise come tax season. Reto and Goldar are doing house-work for Bulk and Skull while Scorpina, Squat and Baboo vacation in the Pocanoes. And Finster makes the only useful monster of the entire season. A man shaped liked a purse. This is the type of trash that makes the rest of the world reject American culture. And the fact that so many people love this season is just further evidence of our academic short-comings and intellectual failure!

For the 1st time since the 1st season of MMPR, the show finally got back in sync(seriously,no pun intneded) with the Japanese "Super Santi Series" with the right Bad guys, the right Ranger costumes, the right cockpit scenes( all in addition to the normally used right zords and right monsters). All in all, a Great Comeback Season for the show!!! Sidenotes: the only 2 bummers (and I personally think mistakes)of the season were on our american rangers side of the show: Doing a 3 part episode about tommy getting and getting over a break up letter from kimberly, and doing an episode where the gold ranger power was given to a former ranger instead of billy(completely unfair). Besides those tiny bugs in this season was Amazing! And the theme song was my favorite after the original 1st season MMPR theme song!!! :)
