A. Sea Herndon is an American poet, known for his mastery of a wide range of forms and styles, and his frequent blending of the mystical with the mundane and comical.
He is the author of MASS & OTHER POEMS ABOUT HYDROCODONE, HERMENEUTICS, & HAMARTIA, and the book-length poem, STUDIUM RERUM PROFANARUM (also published as THE DARK BLACK BOOK OF VERSE).
As a painter and aesthetic theorist, he is the author of THE TRIMURTIC MANIFESTO and A MANIFESTO OF THE AMERICAN STUCKISTS.
As a songwriter, he has released numerous EPs and Albums in a variety of formats.
He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Tulsa, where he studied English Language and Literature as well as Classics.
He currently lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife and three sons, and teaches literature in a small town on the Osage Nation Reservation.
He is the older brother of visual artist and electronic composer, A. Nigh Herndon, with whom he frequently collaborates.
