Product Description
Hybrio batteries come charged and ready to use out of the package similar to alkaline batteries
but they can be recharged for extended use up to 500 times.
Standard NiMH rechargeable batteries self discharge over time. You must always
fully charge your AA and AAA NiMH before use in any electronic devices.
Hybrio technology allows the cells to hold a charge for extended time, i.e. 80%
Capacity after 6 months and about 70% capacity after one year of storage.
You get the benefit of immediate usage like alkaline plus the cost savings and
environmental benefit over time like rechargeables.

Regular NiMH batteries tend to lose their charge (self-discharge) rather rapidly. These batteries do not.
I'd give them five stars, but, as with other NiMHs, the voltage is about 1.3 volts instead of the 1.6 that you get with Alkalines.
