The AAA traveler road assistance kit is a waste -- of space, money, and materials. Luckily I bought this for $8 in a clearance bin at my local sporting goods store. If I had bought it for $33 I would have been outraged. The emergency supplies are the worst quality imaginable, the flashlight is pathetically weak, even the bag it comes in isn't very good quality. The only reason this kit deserves even one star is because you can't buy this kind of "storage" bag and a pair of jumper cables for less than the $8 I paid. Save your money, and piece the kit together yourself.

Way below expectation. "63" piece ad is a deceiving trick. Bad. They count a single band aid as a piece to make the whole package a 63-piece item. It is like an illusion. I felt cheated.

I know other people say that it is deceiving to count every piece but i think that's expected. It was only ten dollars more than a pair of jumps at my auto store, so it was well worth it. I agree it could come with a flare or some signal device, but it is still excellent. I like the small bungee the most, keeps the trunk secure and low without too much hassle.

This is a good, basic emergency kit. It would be better if it had emergency flares and hazard signs, but everything else one might need is included. One of my sons even commented how convenient it was to have a strip of Velcro on the outside of the bag, so he could stick in inside his hatch along the carpeted wall of the compartment.

I 'm glad to have the needed supplies in my car. They are contained in a organized bag. I don't have to search for them. I may not be able to use them, but my rescuer will have all he needs just incase he doesn't have his own supplies. I have read what supplies were needed and the road kit had 90% of them already in the bag for me. Thanks.

We have a wellness program at work that I wanted to include an item for our wellness while in the vehicle that we depend on daily. With winter coming I saw this Travel Road Kit and thought what a great thing to have and at a great price. It was a huge success.

Summary: As the kit arrives, it is a great addition to any car that will put you WORLDS ahead of someone who doesn't have a similar kit.

I bought this kit for my fiancee's car with plans of going through it and beefing it up if need me.

The flashlight is fine in an emergency, as some light is better than no light, but it would be better replaced with a decent LED flashlight with some Lithium batteries.

Jumper cables are better than the overpriced gas station variety.

Could use some more tape, the 2-in-1 screwdriver works well actually, throw in some more zip ties, and then you'll need to go over the FAK (first aid kit).

Honestly, the average person would benefit greatly from throwing in a tube of neosporin and some more bandages, maybe some gauze and whatever else you may want. I would personally suggest building up a much more serious FAK (examples can be found by googling "level 2 FAK" that will give one much more capability.

Being someone with a heavy automotive background, the booklet doesn't do anything for me, but may be just what you need when the time comes!

The case itself has some room to consider it expandable, you'll be able to add things from a few additional tools to first aid options.
