Duh. ... There is a good reason-- it is a tiny, useless pocket atlas offering almost no detail. Unfortunately, the Amazon description (at least at the time I bought the book) did not mention this.

I would imagine an atlas that lists only large highways and cities might be fine if you were, say, traveling from Boston to Seattle on I-90 ... That, however, is not part of my travel plan.
