NOT RECOMMENDED. At first I did recommended them but after having nothing but trouble with their GSM alarms and their failure to support what they sell. I cannot in good faith encourage anyone to buy products from this company.
Their products failed to hold up the way they should have. After sending the unit back to them and replacing the defective unit with another, this replacement only lasted a few months before it too quit working.
They have refused to repair or replace the item in question and have been giving me the run around. It looks like I am out of my hard earned money.

This system never worked from the day I received it several false alarms every day, the support person is very rude, yells and cureses. They sent me a new dialer and I continued to have the same problems. I spoke with the AAS rep and he again was very rude he told me he would send me imformation via email on how to send it back, I never received the email when I called to follow up I was told to stop F ing playing and he hung up twice. I take that as, I will not get my money back on a system that never worked. I would highly recomend all potential customers avoid this company.

I do NOT recommend this company AAS or American Bull dog Alarms which are one in the same to anyone. It is very hard to get the Alarms working. There is NO support or tech help at all from this company. They are very rude and of no help when they did answer one time. When I was still having problems with the alarm system; I called them many times and they would not answer or return any of my phone calls. The system is useless, and nothing but problems. It sounds lots of false alarms! Spent several hundred dollars including buying the GSM unit; which is no good either. It would be a BIG MISTAKE for anyone to buy any product from AAS or AMERICAN BULLDOG alarms !!! Instructions that come with this alarm are useless. There is NO customer service at all. There is nothing good to say about any product from AAS/American bull dog alarm company; or the people there.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!!

I received my order and everything was ready to go. Read the instructions then installed it step by step. I hope I never need to use it ~ but I am confident that it will notify me if I am ever broken in to. Absolutly every thing I thought it was going to be. Thank you

I recently ordered the boat/yacht wireless security system from American Bulldog Security ([...]). They offer a boat system on their web page for $370.
What I received was sub-standard completely! The instructions were partly in English and partly in Chinese. The English instructions were Chinese authored and therefore not fully articulate. I ended up throwing the instructions into the garbage because they made no sense.

So, that brings me to the rest of the story.......... the alarm system itself. I received everything as advertised from American Bulldog Security except the four wireless door sensors as outlined in the package. Instead, I recieved 2 sensors, neither of which had a magnetic mate. In addition, the two sensors I DID receive had dead batteries.

I called American Bulldog and they were very accomodating. They sent me two more sensors and three magnetic mates. They also sent me 5 batteries to replace the 2 dead ones. Unfortunately, the five batteries they sent were also dead and they were still short one magnetic mate for my fourth sensor. Math must be a challenging subject for these guys!

I looked at many companies including Boat Nanny and Boatalarms, both of which incorporate Chinese components, but at increased pricepoints. Be wary because there is alot of poor quality stuff out there and a lot of people trying to make a quick buck. I have nothing good to say about American Bulldog Security and would advise you to look in another direction.

There are a bunch of guys in my marina looking for a good security system for their boats and I said I would do the research and it has turned into a huge joke. Just say no to American Bulldog Security!!
