A.J. Mendler (1993-Present) was born in San Antonio, Texas and then came to the state of North Carolina. She, ever since her childhood, has had an active imagination. She began writing seriously when she was in tenth grade of high school. She published a short story with a group of young authors in Pittsboro, NC. She is currently writing a novella and it is set to be published in May of 2012. She is currently about to graduate from high school and is going to a public university to major in English. Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Considering the ages of the collaborators (teens) I found the stories exhibit much more maturity than I had expected. I have read "adult" anthologies that showed no more. These kids should be proud of their accomplishments.
