About the Author

Shannin Chamberlain was a nine-year-old Northern Michigan schoolgirl when she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma and given a 20 per cent chance for sur-viving two years. During the period she was undergoing numerous operations, chemother-apy and radiation she created this book. After its publication she appeared on the "TodayShow" and made frequent public appearances on behalf of the American Cancer Society.Now, eight years later, she is in apparent good health.
