ABC San Diego: Travel Guides for Kids (Great Things to do in San Diego from A-Z)

I wanted to find a book that would help my kids get excited for our trip and most guide books are more words of description and tips and blah blah (endless words) with a random stock photo here or there that you'll see in every other guide book. This book not only had tons of pictures of kids off on adventures in San Diego, it did a great job of featuring MANY places, not just the most popular places! My kids were thrilled to then visit places just like the kids in the book! I'll definitely look for these books again even though my kids both now know their ABCs, the fun facts and variety of places to visit were great!

We have ABC City Guides for a bunch of cities and our kids love them. The books are filled with fun attractions, colorful images and contact information. The San Diego book has a specially designed map highlighting each location in the book. The book is more than a souvenir, it teaches the kids with fun facts in a colorful and creative way.

My family loves these guides. As a Dad of 5 year old twins, I love the mix of education (ABC's) with entertainment. And the map and list of addresses are helpful resources. It's difficult to find appropriate books for young kids when you travel. Thumbs up.

I have several of these books and they are wonderful for parents as well as children. There are places in these books that you would definitely miss if you didn't have the book, so they serve parents well also! If you truly want to incorporate your children into your vacation, this is the book to have. It makes a wonderful souviener for the children and helps them to remember an awesome vacation! It also removes the hassle of researching "what to do" on your trip. I love them!!!

We just returned from our family vacation in San Diego. We enjoyed using the book to familiarize our children with the city attractions before we visited them that day. What a great idea, we even used it to begin our own A-Z search throughout the city during our trip!

Maybe I misread the description, but this book is really a souvenir book for kids. No useful content whatsoever. It looks a bit dated, too.
