"This book is exactly what teachers need to get started using CBM or to refine and extend their current use. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in CBM. I have flagged several pages so that I can readily locate the information for future use."--Sharon Vaughn, PhD, Department of Special Education, University of Texas at AustinMichelle K. I have referred to this book many times since purchase and have also lent it to colleagues. It is a practical guide for measuring and monitoring progress if you do not have access to tools such as Aims Web. The norms provided are reliable and easy to apply to student work. This book is definitely worth the investment.

I had to purchase this book for a Special Education Assessment class. It is easy to read, not full of jargon, and comprehensive. The charts and tables for calculating scores are especially helpful.
