3.0 out of 5 stars Okay with some problems, August 11, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ABC's of Newborn Baby Care (DVD)
Much of the content is pretty decent except for 2 areas: 1) storage of breast milk - on the DVD, the mom stores her breast milk on the refrigerator door - which is a big NO-NO. You are supposed to store breast milk inside the refrigerator. The temperature on the refrigerator door is not cold enough. 2). carseat safety - they don't really go over that much and you can tell on the DVD that the baby is strapped in incorrectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a first time father., October 5, 2004
This review is from: ABC's of Newborn Baby Care (DVD)
As a first time father without enough time to read book after book about newborn care, I have found this DVD to be instrumental in learning to care for my newborn. With the factual and straight forward aproach of this video I have been able to successfully take on the care of my newborn without feeling nervous about whether or not I am taking care of my child safely and with the most positive results possible. This DVD is a life saver and a must have for new fathers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too basic even for a new mom, March 7, 2005
This review is from: ABC's of Newborn Baby Care (DVD)
There are about 18 chapters of information on basic newborn baby care. Each chapter is covered in brief one to three minute sessions and there's no depth in the information. Each content just scratches the surface of newborn care without detail information. If you've already read books or magazine articles on newborn baby care, this DVD is not worth the money. If you have not ready anything about newborn care (books or magazine articles), maybe this DVD can get you started with basic information as a new mom. I have found that some information differs with information found in newborn care books and magazines (and from prepared childbirth classes).
