Manual QuattroPro,

This review is from: The ABC's of Quattro Pro® for Windows? (Paperback)
This manual is dated. I am not sure just what version it addresses, but it predates version 11 of QuattroPro. Most of the screen shots don't look exactly like the latest version of the spreadsheet. However, there is much good advise in the book. You will learn how to enter formulas, edit, format, and do most of the required things that are peculiar to a spreadsheet. When an operation is explained it is explained stepwise. No spreadsheet knowledge is presumed, however, an advanced user can find plenty of useful information in this volume, i.e. it can be used as a reference book.

Horribly Dated,

This book is horribly dated. It talks a lot about the differences between QuattroPro for DOS and QuattroPro for Windows. The Menu Bar, the Speed Bar and the Input Line in its illustrations don't even come close to matching what actually shows in the version I am using, QuattroPro 12.
Do not order it unless you are a novice at spreadsheets and/or don't care that the book doesn't match any recent version of QuattroPro, or perhaps if you are a novice at using Windows or a Mouse. |
