Book Description

July 12, 2010
The purpose of this book is to sell you on my theory of the universe. Which is: The only thing in life you have control over is yourself. And that you can t make anything happen but you can (greatly) increase the probability of that thing happening by making yourself more -able. The door must be open from the inside.

More About the Author

Scott Ginsberg is the only person who (actually) wears a nametag twenty-four seven. More importantly, he's the only person in the world who made a career out of wearing a nametag twenty-four-seven. As the author of twelve books, a professional speaker, award-winning blogger and the producer of NametagTV.com, Scott's publishing and consulting company specializes in approachability, identity and execution. He's been featured on every major news network in the country - including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, NPR, MSNBC, FastCompany - and, even wrote a quiz for COSMO Magazine. When he's not traveling around the world giving speeches, Scott lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where he can usually be found hard at work in his living room - and, yes - still wearing his pajamas.

Excellent for sales, marketing and personal branding! Lots of numbered lists with practical suggestions. One of those "read a chapter a week" books -- then take action.

This review is from: -ABLE: 35 Strategies for Increasing the Probability of Success in Business and in Life (Paperback)
Subtitled 35 Strategies for Increasing the Probability of Success in Business and Life, Scott continues his typical style of packing tons of insight and advice into short literary bursts. With chapter titles like How to me more Addict-able than Crack, But Without Killing Millions of People and How to be more Request-able than Freebird at a Florida State Frat Party, he presents scores of pointed advice statements such as Punch People in the Face with your Purpose and Discover Yourself Before Somebody Else Gets There.

Scott is as original as ever, and this book defies description. You should just read it and glean some of the gems planted on every page. I'll close this review with a Scott quote: "Play the song that is natural for you to play, in the way that is natural for you to play it, and in front of the fans that most need to hear it."
