About ABO Gear
Short for Australian Beach Outdoor, ABO Gear opened in 1995 with a mission of making outdoor life more comfortable. In the ensuing years, the company has moved in a more pet-focused, sustainability-oriented direction. In 2004, ABO Gear entered the pet market, providing pets with the same rugged, high-performance, waterproof gear as their owners. ABO Gear is currently based in downtown Decatur, Georgia, with a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment center in Murphy, North Carolina.

Great tent to take on beach vacations. It fit in my suitcase, was fairly easy to set up and take down, and provided shade and breezes. I did also put a sheet over it at one point, to add to the shade inside and outside. The light color and vents means that it doesn't get too hot underneath (as I have experienced with other tents), but it doesn't provie 100% shade coverage either.

Pros:
1) Easy to setup even during windy condition. Directions for assembly attached to carrying bag.
2) Lightweight and compact when disassembled. Fits in luggage. Easy to carry with the shoulder strap.
3) Stays cool inside. (see cons below)
4) Sand pockets (on sides and back) really help stabilize tent and prevent it from being blown away when used with included stakes.
5) Easy to clean. Just shake the dirt off!
6) Fits 2 people comfortably when you want to lay down.

Cons:
1) No mallet to make pushing the stakes down into the sand.
2) Can provide more shade. This is because of the large vents although the same vents are one of the reasons why tent stays cool inside. Also, if the front panel is longer, it would provide more shade. You can drape a blanket over top of the tent to solve this issue but don't expect it to be as cool inside.

The tent was easy to set up and take down and was well-ventilated. The only drawback was that there was minimal shade due to the ventilated sides.
