About ABO Gear
Short for Australian Beach Outdoor, ABO Gear opened in 1995 with a mission of making outdoor life more comfortable. In the ensuing years, the company has moved in a more pet-focused, sustainability-oriented direction. In 2004, ABO Gear entered the pet market, providing pets with the same rugged, high-performance, waterproof gear as their owners. In 2008, ABO launched a Natural Products Division focused on "green and pet gear." The division's Aussie Naturals brand features products made using jute, wool, cotton, coconut fiber, natural gum rubber, and leather. ABO Gear continued its movement with its Outback Jack line. Inspired by watching tons of scrap fabric being trucked to landfills, Outback Jack products are made of discarded fabric given a second life as dog toys, travel bowls, and more.
ABO Gear tests all its pet products on employee's dogs and maintains a partnership with Barking Hound Village Foundation (BHVF) in Atlanta. BHVF rescues dogs slated for euthanasia in local city and counter shelters and transports them to no-kill rescues across the East Coast. ABO Gear is currently based in downtown Decatur, Georgia, with a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment center in Murphy, North Carolina.

Sad Day When You Live Under This,
By
This review is from: ABO Gear Bambino Cabana Tent (Sports)
My wife recently left me. It was probably my fault, since I kept spending all my money on cabana tents and this is the last one I ever bought. It came the day after she kicked me out of the house, so I was able to snipe it off the front porch and for the past two weeks I've been living under it in the backwoods of my former apartment building. It's pretty nifty, I mean, it blocks the sun from me when I wake up, and when it rains I don't get too wet, so it does its job better than a minimum wage worker who does a job to protect his boss from the sun and rain but sometimes he takes breaks and the boss gets wet.
