I found the ABO Gear Beach Lugger Trolley to be exactly what I wanted/needed for the beach. It was extremely easy to assemble. One item I had not considered was the need to inflate the tires. However, a quick visit to the gas station solved that issue.

Packing the car to go to the beach was actually easier because I was able to use the built-in bungee straps to secure beach chairs. Once on the beach, I was surprised that it really was easy to roll over the soft sand in Panama City Beach, FL! Next stop - Sarasota, FL!

I just received this item today. As soon as I unpacked it and put it together I could see it was very poorly constructed. The bar that is supposed to prevent it from collapsing while being loaded, does not stay in place. The handle fits so loosely into the tubes that hold it to the frame, it flops around. In its open position the cart is not rigid and can sway back and forth by a considerable amount. Even the bungee cords are so thin and weak, I very much doubt they would hold anything in place during transport. I am not even going to attempt to use this piece of garbage, I have already requested a return. If it were half the price one might be justified in saying "you get what you pay for." For over $60 I would expect something far better constructed than this.

This gadget is a very good beach hauler but there is definately ways to improve it's design and functionality. First of all, it should be made of a rust proof material like Aluminum which would also make it much lighter. Next, the wheels are not the correct type. They should be made without the need to inflate them as well as their placement on the device is not as it should have been so that this hauler is as compact as it should be. A smaller diameter wheel that is the width of the hauler would have been better. And the last improvement is the two bungy cords are not enough to strap down all items that would be carried by this device...a net type cargo strap would have been better to ensure nothing that you're carrying falls off the hauler.

Both intertubes are busted.

Had to put lawnmower wheels on it to use it, then that was a pain to drag

Just received my ABO Beach Gear Lugger. Great Idea and design but very poor craftsmanship. I am going to send mine back there is no way this thing is going to last even one trip to the beach. The bolts/pins that hold it together are so thin they couldn't hold ten lbs let alone the ninety it says it can.

Since I have to walk about 1/3 mile to the beach and must cross a very soft sandy area, I checked out every type of beach cart available on line. This one looked like the best design for soft sand. I received my beach lugger yesterday and assembled it easily in about 10 minutes. I am impressed with the rubber, air-filled, wide tires and the sturdy, simple design. I think this cart will make it easy for me to get my chair, umbrella, and cooler over the soft sand and down to the oceanfront. My only concern is whether the powder coated steel frame will rust eventually, after frequent exposure to the salt air. I did not find any sturdy, reasonably priced beach carts that were made of absolutely rust-free materials.

We put this cart together and inflated the tires to the prescribed amount. The next day I heard a loud bang come from the garage and thought something fell. Upon investigation, I found that one of the tires had exploded sending shards of red plastic hub all over the garage. That was on the first day of ownership. After trying to contact the company for several days, I finally got them to send a replacement tire and hub. We filled this tire to the prescribed amount and loaded the cart into the car for a trip. Upon taking the cart out of the car, and placing a small cooler on it, our son noticed a bulge in one of the tires. Seconds later, it too exploded sending shards of hub everywhere, just missing him and several other scouts. The company has YET to respond to 4 emails over 3 months.

Tired rated at 30 psi but was told that was TOOOOO high and to only inflate to 10-15!!!

It carried four beach chairs and a couple small coolers. Worked excelantly in the sand. Wished I had bought it sooner.

Brough this item to the shores of AC, and it managed very well, pulling umbrellas, coolers, bags, towels, etc. Easily ran over the sand.

No storage bag like the wonder wheeler, had to use the bungees to hold everything on, really no good place for my beach umbrella. didnt move as easily in the sand as i thought it would. i since have purchased the tommy bahama beach cart which i think will work out better.
