SPT AC-1220 Magic Clean Dual-Motor HEPA Air Cleaner with Ionizer

I have some seasonal allergies to grasses and mold. I bought the SPT AC-1220 about two years ago and let me tell you during allergy season, I get a great night's sleep, with this running. I notice relief after a short time being in the same room with this.
This has two fans so two motors. I have read complaints elsewhere about turbulence/noise generated by the machine. Hey... I'd much rather be able to breathe well. At first the air cleaner did seem noisy but after a while I stopped hearing the noise and just slept with no medication. The filter contained in the AC-1220 has an activated charcoal layer that can take out whatever odor you can imagine, at least in my experience. This machine also has an ionizer, built in. Well my experience with ionizers is this: they make dust heavier and it drops to the floor, on furniture, whatever. So I just shut the ionizer off. It is up to you. In summary, I love this air cleaner. It runs every day all day and has since I received it. Be very scrupulous about keeping the air filter fresh, there is a timer that lets you know that it's time to replace the filter element. I can not say enough about how much I like this thing. So far it has never let me down. I love clean air and if you do, this is a definite option for you. I have my Mac in the same room and the screen is always dust free! At this price you owe it to yourself to try one. You may turn out like me and never live without one. Great air cleaner, unbelievable price, clean air, up to 350 square feet. The last place in the house where I would use this AC-1220 is in the kitchen. I don't care what the caption says. The life of the HEPA filter would drop drastically in a kitchen!
