1.0 out of 5 stars This is a scam check the web sites if you dont' believe me., January 15, 2012
This review is from: AC-Energy Saver 220V UL Approved with Surge Protection (Electronics)
Power factor devices only work in say an Industrial setting not a house. A home just does not have enough inductive loads to make use of it.
It's over priced to for what it does. Look in one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Power Factor Correction Devices DON'T save energy, November 29, 2011
This review is from: AC-Energy Saver 220V UL Approved with Surge Protection (Electronics)
Correcting the power factor of the electricity going into your home has absolutely no effect on the amount of energy your appliances use. Don't be duped into buying what is simply a surge protector and nothing more.

1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING! NO SAFETY APPROVAL - DANGEROUS!, April 24, 2011
This review is from: AC-Energy Saver 220V UL Approved with Surge Protection (Electronics)
This device has no UL or CE (or CSA) Safety Approval!

Install it at your peril because it will void your home or business insurance!

This should not be sold online, to Americans - or to anybody in fact!

Only "The Zap Box", Power-Save's "PS1200" or KVAR's "PU1200" come with the necessary safety approval.
