Works just like it says. I'm using a Wii from the states in Italy on a 220V/50z electrical sys...No problems..

I bought it to use my wii overseas. The adapter smoked the moment i plugged it in. I'll spend more money and buy a better safe product.

This power supply is junk. I plugged it into my Wii and then turned it on. Before I could get the TV switched over to the correct component there was a pop and it had stopped working. I'm very picky about the power coming into my Audio video cabinet and I regulate it so I know it was not a power surge, plus all of my other component are working fine as is the Wii when i plug it into the old power supply.

I transferred to the UK last year and quickly learned that the Wii is not dual-voltage...which really surprised me. Most modern electronics are dual voltage. So, I bought this power cord so that I could use my $400 worth of Wii and games for the three years I am in England! It works great with no issues at all. I shopped around on line and locally and could not find a better price on the item I needed. If you are reading this review because you are overseas and looking for a 110-240V adapter like I was, then this is for you...all you will need to do is add the plug adapter for your area onto the end of this and you're ready to play. I did see another model that had interchangeable plugs (US, UK and EU) but for about double the price of this model. Not worth it to me. Buy with confidence in this product that it is safe and works great.

Bought the wii in USA but the adapter coming with game does not support Asian power standards so bought this one. Not bad at this price.

I wanted to buy an original adaptor, but couldn't find it, so I bought this one, made in China. What a mistake. It frequently shuts down in the middle of a game, and all game progress is lost. I don't know if it's overheating as the cause of its malfunction, but it makes the power supply totally useless. I agree with other reviewers who commented on how light this one is--about 1/3 of the weight of the original. I'd also be wary of the seller of this item; the seller obviously doesn't perform any quality checks on the merchandise that they sell.

It didn't work. No surprise since it was light as a feather. I cross checked it with a genuine power cable and verified this generic power cable was worthless. I mean come on, even in generics, a power cord that doesn't carry electricity from one end to the other?

Worked great once, then I started getting lines on my tv while playing. The next time I turned my wii on, the picture would flicker. After doing some research, I found that this is caused by 3rd party power supplies. I switched back to the original power pack and the lines and flickering went away. Not worth the money.

This replacement works great and the price is amazing.

Moving our Wii is a pain in the neck. It's really hard to get to all the wires & cables behind our entertainment system. It turned out to be really cheap and incredibly simple just to buy replacements for all of the wires & cables and use these as our "portable pack" for the Wii.

We bought this power cable plus:

* HDE Wired Infrared Sensor Bar for Nintendo Wii
* Wii A/V Cable

Now instead of a 90 minute fight with the dust bunnies, it's a five minute job. I love it!!!
