4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, GREAT price!
I got these controllers amazingly cheap, so I expected to get what I paid for (not much). But they actually work as well as the more expensive controller I have. The cap for the C-stick came off once, and I had to snap it back on. Also I do have to restart the controller from time to time, I don't think any more often than the other controllers though. So far I haven't...

I bought two of these a couple of weeks ago without even realizing that these were third-party controllers. They look enough like the official Nintendo ones, after all. When they arrived, I was at first very pleased with them, even after I realized that they weren't manufactured by Nintendo. They felt cheaper, and the Z button could be very hard to compress, but otherwise they worked very well: for about 3 days.

On the third day, the joystick on each of the controllers decided that it didn't like one of the four cardinal directions anymore, and wouldn't register movement in that direction. Needless to say, this made gameplay nearly impossible. I suggest learning from my mistakes and avoiding these things like the plague.

a lesson I learned the hard way when I bought this controller. It's much cheaper than the other options, but it also just plain doesn't work. The joystick is floppy and unresponsive, and the left trigger doesn't do anything at all.

Spend the extra 15 dollars and pick up a wavebird.

These are knock off controllers. Don't be fooled by the font and similar packaging.

Bought two of these controllers. The analog stick broke on both of them in a week's time. Worth the $0.01, but not the shipping costs. Terrible.

These are not official Gamecube controllers like they appear in the picture. They are also not black - they're the purplish blue of the original Gamecube. They work, but they are the little bit off that can mess you up sometimes. Only good since they were 5 bucks.

This controller wasn't even the authentic product. I didn't realize it until later when it broke after less than 5 days. The analog stick didn't work anymore and is was useless.

I ordered eight Nintendo Gamecube (AX-GC Controller-Black (SIM), controllers, put four into use about two weeks ago, and already three of them are starting to malfunction. The buttons are sticking or are not responding when depressed by the user. If I were electronically talented, I might be able to build one good controller from the eight I received. The only reason I gave this product one star was because I couldn't submit this review without a rating.

This new picture/title is more representive than it was back in March. Yes, it works, but are sloppy compared to a real Nintedo. My boys didn't care for it and I thought how bad can it be... I use one on a few differant nights and the Joystick is nowhere near as tactful as a Nintendo unit.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sneaky, very sneaky..., August 31, 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: ACC-GC CONTROLLER (SIM) (Video Game)
A controller is a controller, right? Not. Usually knock-off brands are ok at the very least, but come on. When playing a FPS (first person shooter) such as Medal of Honor: Rising Sun or Resident Evil 4, where aim is obviously crucial, the control stick would just freak out if it were pressed the slightest bit; but after that first touch on it when the stick is all the way down, it was fine. However, this made aiming extremely difficult. The c-stick would do the same thing. And when playing Super Mario Sunshine, or The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker where you use the left stick to walk around, I would ALWAYS overshoot a jump, or it would make me run in the wrong direction and fall off a cliff or something. You guys get the point.

The worst part is how they packaged it. While it's not actually a Nintendo brand, it had the actual Gamecube logo on it (which fooled me pretty good). Very sneaky. The other thing with this, is the fact that it looks JUST like a Nintendo brand controller, too. The compilation of these things made me buy it. This was my 3rd controller, next to my two other Nintendo brands. The last thing i noticed when i was playing a multiplayer game with some friends, we were rotating controllers to whoever died, and one was like, "dude, are there good controllers and bad ones? cause this one is weird". Thats when i noticed the good ones said Nintendo Gamecube right on front, and this one didnt.
SNEAKY!!!!!!!!!!!
