Unreliable,
This review is from: ACCUSPLIT Health Engine AH120M9 Pedometer/Step Counter (Sports)
My Accusplit pedometer was accurate when it worked right, and I liked having it. BUT (1) Even when I thought I had completely closed the case, somehow it seemed to have been slightly open; and when it was not completely closed, it reset itself to a setting entirely different from what I had set. (2) When I did make double-sure that the case was completely closed, it was very difficult to open. (3) When I did manage to pry it open, it easily came unhinged at the bottom. Basically, it's a cheap plastic design. In theory, I should have been able to snap it open and read what it said without stopping my run. In practice, this almost never happened. (4) It finally died when I ran down a sidewalk that had some bushes that hadn't been completely trimmed back. The pedometer was designed to be clipped to my waistband, and that's where it was; but apparently that cheap plastic hinge was no match for a stray branch. Some time later, I looked down and most of the pedometer was gone. Oh, well. Maybe some kid found it and became a more digital soul as a result. I may have contributed to the formation of a future engineer. Not bad for twenty bucks. But I still won't buy another one of these.

I purchased this and it quit within a week. The clock works but the step counter locked up at 0. You had to take the battery out to get it to reset. I did this 3 times in a week. I sent it back. I also have purchased 5 Omron 112 pedometers and they have been great.
